- GAML - Generalized Analytical Markup Language
- The GAML model, developed by James Duckworth and colleagues from Thermo Galactic, has had a significant impact on the development of the AnIML data model.
GAML documentation is no longer available on the Thermo web site, but archival documentation is available from xml.org.
SpectroML
- SpectroML, created by Gary Kramer and colleagues at NIST, was another XML standard having significant impact on the AnIML data model. The link above, to the NIST site, is an ftp site. See xml.org for http access to the schema.
JCAMP
- The JCAMP-DX standard has also been an important foundation for the development of AnIML. The Creon/Waters group have developed a mapping of all of the JCAMP-DX and netCDF data labels into AnIML XML elements.
