Proposed AnIML format (Creon Lab Control, August, 2003)
Contributions from our group for the AnIML project. Some XML schemas, being part of our upcoming proposal we are going to present at the ASTM working meeting
- Schema for sample
- Schema for technique
- Schema for core
- A descriptive text about the schemas
- A list of all JCAMP-DX and netCDF labels and their mappings to AnIML (Excel)
- Some example files created with our schemas: (AnIML_Scatter.xml, DAD_UV_Demorun.xml, Sample_CNMR_AnIML.xml)

Please note: To view the schemas, we recommend XMLSpy 5. The "Home Edition" of that software, however, cannot graphically display schemas importing other schemas. In this case, it helps to remove the line xs:import schemaLocation="(filename).xsd". It is then possible to view the loaded shell (without the shells beneath it). The sample files are intended as "case studies", not as test data displayable in a possible AnIML API. Thus, the Base64 data included in them is an encoding of the value lists (as text), not yet of the binary stream. Thorsten Richter and Peter Lampen will participate in the ASTM working meeting next week and present our proposal.
